Sales!
It
wasn’t until I bought my first item which I turned over for a profit that
I was hooked. A lot of men
out there probably stay at home and laugh at their wife going out to yard
sales each and every weekend.
But they have no idea what they are missing out on. As
a man myself, I did the same thing for almost a year. Finally, my wife asked me to go
with her. I bought some
“Dish” satellite equipment for $10.00 and turned it around for about
75.00. A nice little profit
of $65.00. From that point
on, I have been hooked.
What kind of things should a man be
looking for at yard sales.
Well common sense says, anything that you might need! However, there can be other
items if you are into making a profit. Whether you are buying an item for
resale, or equipment to make something crafty for resale, a yard sale is
an excellent place to get a bargain and save a lot of money over
retail.
The types of things that are at yard sales
are as plentiful as they are amazing. I have seen everything from
Anvils to Zinc coated fasteners. Here are some categories of
items. TOOLS,
ELECTRICAL ITEMS, PLUMBING ITEMS, TESTING EQUIPMENT, POWER TOOLS,
CLOTHING, AUTOMOBILE PARTS AND SUPPLIES, ETC.
